Dr. Zehra Zaid

Owner, First Class Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Zehra Zaid was born in Manchester, England, and moved to the U.S. when she was five. She grew up in Sugar Land, Texas, where her curiosity and love for learning began early, starting college at 16 through the Texas Academy of Math and Science. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Sociology and a minor in Biology.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, followed by a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Michigan. Her research focused on Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF), a gentle, non-invasive treatment that helps stop cavities in baby teeth while keeping children comfortable and confident.

Dr. Zaid is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. After several years practicing in Colorado, she’s proud to call the Commerce City area home — just minutes from Denver International Airport. Inspired by her husband, a United Airlines captain, Dr. Zaid brings the same first-class standards of care, precision, and calm to her practice that you’d expect in the skies.

As the owner of First Class Pediatric Dentistry, she’s built her dream: a warm, welcoming space where kids enjoy coming to the dentist and families feel supported every step of the way. Her philosophy is simple: every child deserves a smile on the surface that matches the beauty of a smile within.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Zaid with her husband Jeff and their huskies, Kodiak and Miska. She’s a certified yoga instructor, a five-time half-marathon finisher, and an avid traveler, hiker, and thrifter.
